English Proficiency Test Waiver Request Form 2027

We will evaluate your application and other materials along with this English proficiency waiver request. Please note that we may require proof of proficiency via test score and/or interview.

We will evaluate your school records including but not limited to report cards, transcripts, school leaving exams. If there is not enough evidence that is English is the primary language at your school, we may require proof of proficiency via test score and/or interview.

Applicants to Centre College must demonstrate proof of English proficiency in order to be considered for admission. If you do not plan to submit an approved form of English proficiency testing (TOEFL Essentials, TOEFL IBT, Pearson PTE, IELTS, or Duolingo English Test), please complete this proficiency test waiver request. Please note that all students who submit this waiver may be required to complete an interview and/or submit test scores to be considered for admission.

NOTE: We must have your complete admission application, including supporting documents, in order to evaluate this request. All English proficiency waiver requests are also due by the date of your selected application plan deadline.
